Our gourmet coffee is made from 100% single sourced arabica beans, grown, processed and packaged by our family in the Puerto Rican rain forest. Our coffee profile: deep, sweet, aromatic fruity chocolate.
We are excited to celebrate our brand name "Al'Garete" Gourmet Coffee. Al garete is a colloquial Puerto Rican phrase which symbolizes a freedom and passion central to the Puerto Rican experience.
Natural Coffee
Located in the rain forest, along-side rivers, cacao, citrus and banana trees, we produce aromatic arabica coffee, grown free of harmful pesticides and herbicides. Our small batch growing method creates a symbiotic relationship with local plants and wildlife, generating a delicious natural flavor profile. We utilize the natural drying method where the coffee cherry is fully sun dried before processing.
Ethical Coffee
Our coffee production contributes to the natural ecological processes, by helping to keep rivers clean and working symbiotically with nature, including the essential local bee population. We believe nature should be helped not hindered by our presence.
